SPS Sports Performance & Razor Sharp Fitness is excited to announce a partnership with Case High School Soccer this coming winter. SPS will be providing sports performance training for approximately 60 athletes in the soccer program, encompassing both Boys and Girls JV and Varsity teams! Our training will focus largely on enhancing the players' movement quality, speed, mobility, and explosiveness. Additionally, we will install a system of exercises designed to correct movement imbalances and asymmetries with the goal of reducing the likelihood of injury.
Program details are listed below:
Where will the training take place?
All training will be taking place at SPS Sports Performance/Razor Sharp Fitness, across from Case High School.
How many sessions will there be?
There will be 35 training sessions included in this package. Training will take place Tuesdays and Thursdays from December 2nd, 2016 to April 4th, 2017 during these times:
Group 1: 3:15-3:45
Group 2: 3:45-4:15
Group 3: 4:15- 4:45
No training will take place the week of December 26th. Program dates and times are subject to change. Players will be notified which session they will attend following registration.
What is the cost of training?
For all 35 sessions, the cost will be $70/athlete. This comes down to only $2/session for each player!
Who will lead the training?
All training will be conducted by Coach Andrew. He can be contacted with questions via email at AKossow@SPSSportsPerformance.com or by phone at (262) 321-0200.
How do I register?
Registration will be held Wednesday, November 9th at 6pm at the Roma Lodge Banquet Hall. You will sign your son or daughter up directly with Coach Andrew. You will be asked to fill out your player's name, age, team (JV, Varsity), as well as a wavier form required to be signed before training. We ask you sign up at the banquet event. However, if you cannot attend we will accept registration after November 9th. During registration, the first 20 athletes who sign up will receive a free demo of our training the following day on November 9th at 3:30pm. This 30-minute demo will introduce sports performance training and the techniques we will use for the following sessions. Please bring cash or check.
Can I wait at Razor Sharp/SPS while my son/daughter trains?
Absolutely. We are offering a special day-pass rate of $5 which includes access to the facility and equipment. Razor Sharp Fitness club information can be found here.
How will I know my son or daughter is getting better?
We frequently test athletes to measure progress. Tests include change of direction, 20-yard sprint, push-ups, and vertical/horizontal jump. We typically test athletes every four weeks.
No cleats are permitted in the facility. Please bring a change of shoes to keep salt and snow from tracking into the building.
